I'm another Z owner from Australia so hi to all the Auzzies on here. Well basicly i've been planning an L28ET swap into my 82 NA 2+2 and am aiming at a 250 - 300RWHP Goal, are any of you guys running a similar setup give or take (parts list below) and are reliably putting down any where from 250 - 300 RWHP? _____________________________________________________________ Parts list. ENGINE L28ET Rebuilt p90 head (40k ago) Completly rebuilt L28ET (gaskets, rings, bearings and timing replaced) Head polish and deburr FUEL DELIVERY MegaSquirt v2 Electronic Fuel Injection ECU (Not megasquirt n spark) High output Boshe fuel pump Ajustable Fuel Pressure Regulator 440cc Supra 7MGTE Low OHM Injectors Custom fuel rail New filter AIR DELIVERY T3/T04E Hybrid turbo (50 AR comp, 57t wheel, 63 AR Turbine and Internal Waste gate) Half Inch spacer Large NPR Front Mount InterCooler K&N Pod Filter (mounted in a "cold air" position) 60mm Throttle Body Ported Intake mouth and intake runners Blow Off Valve (directing air at the turbo impeller) IGNITION High Voltage Coil High Voltage Leads NGK Spark Plugs EXHAUST 2.5" Custom Down Pipe (with 02 Sensor bung) 2.5" through a high flow cat (regulations) and magna flow muffler MISC 2 Stage Electronic Boost Controller A/F Gauge Boost Gauge Turbo Timer _____________________________________________________________ Thanks guys Mat. Guest Bris280zx Posted August 9, 2004 Share Posted August 9, 2004 I'm going to run the distributor for now cause i think going with MS&S would be one more thing to trouble shoot when the time comes . As with the 3" Mandrel bent pipes most say you either can go 2.5 Mandrel bent or 3" Press Bent, Dont hold me to it though hehe. Better safe then sorry, i was just concerned about the cash! Guest Cronic Posted August 9, 2004 Share Posted August 9, 2004 Yeah I'd run higher boost if I could, but my turbo wont go any higher unless I pop off the wastegate line! Once I upgrade to my 50 trim, I'll be running upper 20's all day with a little race gas, and prolly 22psi on pump. Im lookin to break something.
