80LS1T
The 280Z is still a Gen 1 car where as the 280ZX is a Gen 2 car. The 280Z and 280ZX are pretty close in weight but the 280ZX is still a little heavier. The extra weight is due to the cars more luxury items and the body was strengthed up due to federal laws at the time requiring strong cars for crash purposes. The 280ZX is a nicer ride than the 280Z because when the 280ZX came out they were trying to please the public with a "sporty" more "comfy" daily driver car rather than the cheap(I mean cheap as in low cost not cheap as in crappy) sports car like the 240Z's. What kind of info are you looking for? Guy

80LS1T
As with any car its going to depend a lot on the milage, rust or no rust, interior condition, etc. Its too hard to say with out some specifics. Like RCNSC said the drivetrain is pretty much identical. There might be some more smog equipment on a ZX but Im not sure... Guy
