Guest LetZ Posted August 17, 2004 Share Posted August 17, 2004 I have a kit from VB that I can't seem to get to fit. Has anyone had any experience with these? The urethane pieces seem to big and the metal tube where the bolt slides through is too long. I have a 72 240 with a 5 speed tranny but its not supposed to make any difference as the kit is for 70-78 cars. Any help appreciated. Georgia Flash Posted August 28, 2004 Share Posted August 28, 2004 I ordered the same kit a while back and the front steerring rack bushings did not fit. They were way to big to fit in the slots. I ordered two from Motorsport Auto and they fit as good as the stock rubber bushings. I did not use the stock tranny mount bushings because I will be using a 700 R4 tranny.
