Guest Casey240Z
First of all this is my first post and wanted to say hello to everyone. I have had my V8Z since October and the fuel pump is dead. My car has a Holley 750 with about 275-300 hp and I need to know which fuel pump would suit my needs. I don't plan on building up my carbed engine and will probably swap it out for a LT1 or LS1 someday. What brand is the best and how many gph and psi do I need for a good street driven engine? GAZRNR
If you can determine what you have and swap it out with a like part would be the easy way out for you. Does your setup have a fuel pressure regulator? If not then you want a pump that puts out 6-8 PSI. I have seen posts that claim the holley pumps are loud but have never used one. A carter PN CRT-P4594 should work for you but I would verify what was in there before I spent any money. My edelbrock performer carb calls for 6.5 psi fuel pressure.
