I have a 72' 240Z , an 83' L28ET w/ turbo 5-speed that I want to use w/ the R180 (3.9:1) rear-diff that came with the car I just don't know which driveshaft will work with that combination? I have the 72' driveshaft that went with the 4-speed. An 80' 280ZX coupe driveshaft and 5-speed. And the driveshaft that came in my 83' Turbo two-seater. hanomon Posted September 1, 2004 Share Posted September 1, 2004 I took both ends to a local driveline shop, yoke from the Tremec. Frank at Vista Driveline hooked me right-up. All he needed to know was what rear-diff we were running and how long from u-joint center to u-joint center. 19.5 for this one.
