john kosmatka
One of my buddies wants to know what is required to run N20 on a carbbed l series. If it is possible does anyone know what needs to be done in relation the the carb needles and a good setup for the l series. Any help from someone experienced with N20 on the datsun motors is much appreciated. Thanks, John
2126
Just an idea..........Drill and tap the phenolic carb spacers for the nozzles, if they are wide enough. If not, fabricate a wider ones using the same material. By the way, you may want to consider a really good head gasket if you don't have one already! Sounds like a fun thing to have though. Good luck.
510six
My question would be"how big of a shot do you want to run".For a 50-80rwh shot using 2 fogger nossels after each carb would work fine. For any more of a shot I would run a port system with a dedicated fuel system to the nitrous. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/sss510six/album?.dir=15c7&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos If you want more detail on how to setup a nitrous system without blowing up your motor PM me.
