azguy
This kit is over $600 and wondering if it is worth it and if anyone on here has used it. Did some searches and couldn't find anything but people who have used PAINLESS 18 circuit harnesses. I am talking about a 94 lt1 4l60e fuel injection wiring harness with vats bypass. I think it would be easier to use this rather than tracing wires from engine and tranny from donor car like I have. What do you guys think? Will this harness, when used with computer from donor car be pretty much a self contained fuel injection (engine and tranny) system with fuse box, relays provided by PAINLESS in the harness? That's what it appears to be like to me from description. Healthy price though. http://www.streetrodcatalog.com/manufacturers/painless/p-wiring-fuelinject.shtml
Tim240z
Just get the Factory Service manual for your year donor vehicle and trace them out. It's not that hard. With my 73 Z and 94 LT1/T56, I rewired the entire car from scratch (including the addition of the new (Z28) engine harness) over two weekends. I'd rather spend time than money. Search the forums, there is enough info posted to get you going.
