I'm going to relay the ignition coil and change the ignition relay and switch in the morning. I'm trying to solve the three crank when cold problem. Smells like it is getting plenty of fuel once it actually stays running so I'm wondering if the ignition is not getting good voltage for some reason when cold. Thumper Posted September 10, 2004 Share Posted September 10, 2004 Last time I went to houston raceway been a yr or two I had to wear a helmet in my 13 second car and in a convertible that was running 15's. I believe from track to track some rules vary alittle bit. So on the safe side if you plan to be in the 13's you might want to bring a helmet or you might get stuck with the crappy loaner ones. Guest 2slo4u Posted September 10, 2004 Share Posted September 10, 2004 I'll be there. I couldn't find a helmet though. I modified my old crappy efi relay behind the battery to two new relays. Even though the contacts inside the stock relay were severely corroded, the new relays didn't make any running difference. Oh well, time to look for vaccum leaks again.
