Guest TOOMBSTONE
Hello all; Ok,..... So.... I am grasping at straws here but sometimes you have to go back to the basics. If, while installing your new fuel rail you decided to rerout the injector harness, what are the possibilities of re-connecting the injectors in an order that the car will not run? and if this is the case how do you figure out how to re-connect the harness to the correct injector? I have done a search on this subject and have been unable to find the info. thank you in advance for any assistance in this issue. datsunlover
I think they have to be instaled one way only.. if they're all mixed up, it'd pulse the injector(s) at the wrong time imo... therefore causing the car not to run.. Guest 2slo4u
If you have a 280zx it doesn't matter which order you put the injector plugs on, they all fire at exactly the same time. They are actually connected to the same circuit inside the ecu. Brian 81zxturbo 95slobaru
datsunlover
Right.. 'batch' firing or somethin... The older Z's (75-78) fired the injectors in groups of three didnt they?
Guest 2slo4u
All injected z's up to 83 fired all injectors in parallel, at same time. I'm not sure of the 300zx's. The other more experienced guys on this site do know about the 300zx's. Brian 81zxturbo 95slobaru
