Guest jer
newbie first post! i have been doing alot of reading for the past 6 months no posting yet so i thought id give it a try. i was wondering what you guys were using for your crossmembers and tranny mounts on your t56's. did you take the JTR manual's suggestion and just bolt a flat piece of steel to the floor, or come up with something better that benefits driveshaft angles or any other problems found with this swap? i did do a search, but wanted a few different opinions and a little more specific, experienced, answers. two heads are better than mine. Mike kZ
First off, welcome!! I used the tranny mount that came with the kit. https://shell7.tdl.com/~jags/Pages/Parts_DAT200.html .You have to hammer up the floor some for the exhaust hoops, but it works fine. (240Z). I think the floor mods on a 280Z are not as bad.
