CasperIV Posted September 21, 2004 Share Posted September 21, 2004 I bought this 240Z with some work done to it, but about the only thing that it came with that I would keep is the tranny. All I know at this point in time is that it is a 5 speed, so it must be from a later car, but I have not had a chance to get it on a lift and look at it closer. If it has 1 slotted tab its a 82-83 5spd, if it has two tabs, it a early 5 spd. Thats one of the ways to tell the early 5spd from the late.
