rustrocket
I was offered a l28et block with everything but the turbo and intake manifold (minus ecu as well) for $225. Should i go for it, or pass it up? I originally wanted to to the 1jz swap, but this seems a bit more practical and economical as i am on a limited budget. -Rustrocket
Drax240z
Its not a bad price, just realize that you will probably have to spend a fair bit still completing the engine/electrical. If you just want an easy swap I'd try to find a turbo car complete that runs and transfer everything over from a known well running car. Guest Chris240turbo
I just sold 2 complete motors, with manifolds and turbos. for $300 each (one to on3go) so $225 is not great for just a longblock, any chance you can run a compression check on it before you lay out the cash? Guest Chris240turbo
I just got a line on a whole car, 82zxt, 100k miles, runs, hit very light in front, complete, and completely stock, anyone who is interested, and has actual money to spend, PM me..... I intend to make no money on something like this (ask ON3GO) but I have little time anymore to spend on my own projects, let alone anyone elses, so please, don't waste my precious time... 8)
