Ok, maybe that title wasn't realistic, but its pretty close to what i'm looking for, which is : *240z-280z with clean title, must be '75 or older. *Rust free, or close. No bondo *Not orange *Paint in decent condition *Working heater and radio *No leaks in rain. *manual trans *able to be driven 60 miles on daily basis with no worry of reliability. *somewhere 6-8 hours driving distance from the SF bay area. My budget is a pitiful $4000, with a deposit of $1,000 available anytime and the balance available on the 22nd or before. if you have something that i'm looking for, or close, please let me know. My dad always told me "the deal of a lifetime comes along once a week", so i'm willing to be patient and wait. Thanks for looking.

I'm looking for a complete and running ka24de swap with 5 speed. Must include everything needed to drop into another car, including smog equipment, harness, etc, etc. I would prefer to pay less than $500, but let me know what you've got. I'm looking to do a possibly smog legal swap in my '87 Nissan Van. It's fiberglass, i'm guessing aftermarket? Im still trying to figure out how to get this thing smogged in CA, being that this is a euro car and has no emissions equipment on it. I took a pic last night of the oil leak, looks like it's coming from the left side in the pic. Hopefully i can tighten that nut on there, or just replace the gaskets/hardware as planned to fix it. Thanks for all the kind words! I was on the fence about a slant nose too, but i fell for this one when i saw it in person. The headlights are setup so there's an individual motor for each light. I'll definitely post up my thoughts and impressions once i go through it and get some much needed seat time.

Just thought i'd share my new toy with you guys even though it's not a Z. I've been looking on and off for about 4 years now, and with slownrusty's help with answering my annoying questions, I've finally came across a deal i couldn't pass up and am now the proud owner of this '83 930 euro. It has an aftermarket slant nose kit. Just over 44,000 original miles. Original Fuchs wheels. From what i can tell the suspension is stock. Interior is all stock, though it does have sport seats. Everything works except the stereo, which is no big deal. Unfortunately, the previous owner messed around with aftermarket alarms, so i need to remove that and clean up some of the messy wiring under the hood and around the battery. There's also some stereo stuff i need to check out. It does have a small oil leak like most other old Porsches apparently. I'm used to datsuns and triumphs, so that's nothing new. The only pics i have are from the original seller, i have yet to take pics of my own. I'm waiting to do an oil change, put new gas in it, new tires, new valve cover gaskets on, and detail it before i take more pics. Anyhow, enjoy!

Thats exactly what i was looking for, thanks! So, in all likelihood, i'm going to be using a ls6 intake manifold, so the injectors won't be an issue. (disclamer: I did a search but couldn't find any positive info. I apologize if i overlooked it.) I have this 05 LS2 engine. It was one of the early ones with the 24x reluctor wheel. Can anybody tell me if a harness and pcm from a ls1/ls6 work on my LS2, being that they both have the same wheel?

Need some wheel with tires - the tires dont have to be pretty, just hold air. I just need them to roll my datsun 1200 around on, but they must be at least 14" to clear the 240sx calipers. Problem is, i need aftermarket s13/s14 coilovers to get the thing rolling out of my friend's house. Does anybody in the South Bay area have a pair of front coilovers i can borrow for a week or two? I'll be more than happy to buy you a 12 pack of your favorite beer, or a starbucks giftcard or something. Thanks in advance... Mods - feel free to delete or relocate as necessary.

I came across a set of hks cams for a steal. The seller doesnt know if they're step 1/2/3. The only information i have is that there's a "R2" stamped on the cam, and on one there is the marking "N010" and "N011" on the other. Do these mean anything to anybody here? -Cameron

Definitely one of my favorites, and definitely for the price of $32 at trader joes! Would also have to second the Glenfiddich 18yr old. Not really a fan of the JW blue. For the price, there's a ton of other bottles i'd rather buy. The local costco does have the Blue label for $145 though, not a bad price! I've had a ton of others, but i don't remember them all. My dad once told me about the best bottle he'd ever had, Glenlivet Library...but i've never been able to find it, even after searching extensively online.

Hey I'm looking for a decent running twin cam KA. Doesn't matter if it's from an s13 or s14, but it needs to be complete with tranny, ecu,harness, and everything i need to swap it into a datsun. Needs to have decent compression and no grinding in the trans. Clutch wear is ok. I'm not one of those people that thinks a KA is worth it's weight in gold, so please don't respond if you think otherwise. That being said, I'll pay a fair price for a clean swap. I'm located in San Jose, CA. Thanks for looking.

I know it's not a Z, but still a datsun. Looking for a driving 510. Must be able to make the drive from wherever it is to San Jose, CA. No rust buckets.
