huwwatki
Just a query, is it possible to fit the head from the Japanese Z (Fairlady Z 432-R on a 240 block? or are the Z-432R engines available in Australia? (that engine is shared with the early skylines isn't it?) It just seems like an interesting swap, especially if it can be worked. Guest porschephile
The engine in the 432R is called an S20. It's a 24v Dohc 2.0l i6. As far as I know, the few Datsuns with the S20 engine were not exported at all. I'm sure there are a handful of 432r's, kpgc10's, etc in private collectors hands around the world now, but it's going to be near impossible to find. As far as the head itself, even if you do find one, it will probably cost a fortune. For the longest time, I've tried finding a block, head, s20 engine, and basically anything s20 related on Japanese yahoo auctions or Japanese websites/forums/classifieds and it is near impossible. It would be easier and cheaper to convert to an rb if you want a dohc i6.
