Guest ON3GO
hey guys.. got a call from the machine shop who has my blue Z's L28ET. anyways he said theres cracks all over it and would be $220 bucks to fix them all. now its a P90A head with solid lifters. everything else was in great shape. so.. should i fix mine or maybe buy a good turbo head of somebody on this site.. now if anybody has one forsale please let me know. as we speak i cant afford to fix this head anyways mike
johnc
"Cracks all over it" and "$220 to fix" doesn't seem to compute (at least to me). If it really has cracks all over it I would think it would cost much more then $220 to disassemble, groove, pre-heat, weld, cool down, and machine. Find another head and only repair this one as a last resort.
Drax240z
Does not compute to me either... Mike I have a refreshed P90 with less than 7000miles on it. 5 angle valve job, slight port clean up. I'd be willing to send it to you but the shipping might be a bear.
Guest ON3GO
the machine shop thats doing my motor is friends of the family and is giving me a deal no matter what. i would think it would be way more then 220 bucks but that still more then i have right now. Drax if you can figure out how much shipping would be to Houston, Texas, 77070. i might be down for this. let me know also how much you want for it too. not saying its a deal but it could be one thanks for the thought also! mike
texasz
Mike, I've been trying to get a hold of you via email and PM for a couple weeks now. I would still like to know the condition of the 5-speed you were telling me about. Please get back to me.

Not too bad on the shipping if you sell it to him cheap
