speedstylez78 Posted November 12, 2004 Share Posted November 12, 2004 Hi, Well it has been a while since i posted last because some @$$hole t-boned me ruining my chasis. But the good news is the everything in my 78 chasis is still good. I found a 76 chasis with no engine, ecu, and engine wiring harness. So i swaped the drivetrain and everything from my wreaked car into it. But i ran into some problems last night. I got everything in and it turned over but didnt start so looking around the four pin connector under the dash that is really close to the ecu when sparks suddenly flew. i though i had everything hooked up right but i found the wire that cause them and it was a white and red wire that comes from the fuel injection relay. when i secured the wire and tried to turn the key agian i found that nothing had power. upon further inspection i realized that the the 76 chasis has 5 wires that come of the ecu and the 78 wireing harness only has 4. what do i need to do to get the darn thing running. when i get back home i will try and post some pic of what i'm talking about. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
