olie05
I read this post: http://hybridz.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=6715&highlight=wheel+widening Could wheel widening be done on the turbo swastica's by cutting out the center section and drilling holes to bolt on custom shells? That would make it a 3 piece wheel with an alloy center section, and wheel shells can be made in any size, so I could have something like 16x10 wheels with swastica looks and a decent lip. (i'm not content with the <1" lip on my swastica's now) I'm thinkin something like these wheels but with swastica center: http://www.balancedperformance.com/photos/wall1.gif
johnc
I wouldn't do this. Unless the edge of the wheel center is designed to take a fastened load I would be worried that it would fail. Each hole that you drill reduces the edge strength some amount and creates a great stress riser.
Drax240z
I think the work required would end up costing more in the end than just getting a 3pc set custom made...
