johnc
Its looking real bad for Kofi and the UN: http://www.nypost.com/news/worldnews/21074.htm http://online.wsj.com/article_email/0,,SB110185330853087227-IZjfINilad3op6mZHyJbaWIm4,00.html http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=285035 And, surprisingly, its also starting to look bad for Bill Clinton: http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=295926&page=1 http://www.dailystar.com/dailystar/relatedarticles/43738.php
Zerrari GTO
Kohi Annan was in trouble until Pres. Bush agreed there was a need for an investigation and Sen. Norm Coleman called for Annan's resignation. Now that the U.S. has expressed it's views the whole world will line up to protect Annan and the U.N. regardless of how much incriminating evidence there is. The moment the U.S. spoke out against the scandal was the moment Annan's job was secured by everyone else. What a crock of sh@&.
zolorin
If Kofi Annan will not resign and they find many leads showing that Oil for Food money were used to fund the insurgenets. US should do the following 1. stop funding UN 2. evict UN from their office in NYC 3. veto everything in UN 4. ask UK to join in stop funding UN 5. don't provide troop support 6. and if everything else fails ask the nations that are helping the US to quit UN and start their own organization
johnc
And, in addition to the corruption, the UN's peace keeping forces look like clowns driving around in clown cars: http://www.economist.com/world/africa/displayStory.cfm?story_id=3446358 Anyone see the Dutch movie "The Enclave"?
