Guest Pegasus76
My driver's side headlight doesn't turn unless I reach underneath and fiddle with the unit that the headlights, turn signals, etc. are connected into...I thought it was just the unit so I replaced it and connected wires accordingly...But it still doesn't turn on unless I jiggle the unit or pull it towards me. The passenger side turns on regardless, it's only te drivers. Any suggestions as to what I should do or what is wrong?
RedBeauty84ZX
not sure if its not the switch or the light it self, but your otaku on zcar.com.Just figured that out
VRJoe
Check the wires. Could be a broken wire, loose connection, dirty connector or bad ground. - Joe
Guest Magic
I used to have this problem with the same intermittent symptoms. It used to drive me crazy until I went to town looking through the electrical system for the problem. I found that the electrical "spring" contacts on the headlight column switch were pitted and worn. I used a little bit of wet and dry on the contact surfaces, and carefully re aligned the spring contacts. I has been working fine for a good year or two now. Hope this helps.
