Tim240z
Rubber line will work fine...otherwise there isn't any special tricks to them....just get ones that will fit...
datsun327
does it matter what size they are?
Tim240z
Don't go overly large on either, esp. the tranny cooler. Oil that is too cool is not a good thing. Run an oil temp gauge for engine oil and tranny fluid and keep them in optimum range....
datsun327
Run an oil temp gauge for engine oil and tranny fluid and keep them in optimum range.... and what would that be?
Tim240z
It really depends on what oil you use, but a rule of thumb is to keep tranny oil temps around 170-180 degree F, and engine oil to about 180-190, or a bit higher if you use synthetic, like Mobil One.....best to refer to manufacturers recommendations of the specific oil you plan to use....
