yes i know there not ment for it, but heres the thing.

for my blue Z i mostly do street/drag racing BUT i want to start auto-x'ing soon.

now these wont be used daily, they will be on a extra set of wheels, BUT thing is the wheels are 14inch's and the tires are 195-60-14.

think ill hook very well with these tires? or will i just blow them away once boost comes on...

motor when broken in and upped boost should have more then 250rwhp and great torque.

These tires are great for autocrossing but I don't think they will do very well in a drag race. They have a very stiff sidewall and will not "give" like a drag radial will on launch. I autocross them on a '91 civic si STS class(stock motor with 108hp) and the car gets wheel spin on a 4000rpm launch. These tires also don't like heat.

I would try the Kumho Ecsta MX instead. Very sticky when warm, and a great autocross tire too. Cost is probably about $10 more per tire. Only downside is that they might chunk if not shaved for autocrossing, but you can wear them down on the street first if you don't buy them shaved.

Dohh... sorry Mike, missed the 14"

That really limits the selection. I'm not sure of any other drag tires but those are the two best street class autocross tires for the money. The azenis are probably your best option.

I had these tires on my miata that I ran in soloII class CSP. They work great as autoxing tires. I also went to the drag strip once with the car for fun and was turning 2.2 60ft times nothing great but not bad at all. I took them off and ran on my stock tires and my 60ft times jumped to 2.4's. So they do hook up fairly well. Although my torque was closer to 110-120 not 250. I was also running 205/50 r15.
