cheftrd Posted February 21, 2005 Share Posted February 21, 2005 You can scrap the stock engine management harness, but you will want to retain some items like the oil pressure and water temp so that your stock gauges work. On the Microtech EFI systems I sell you can use the factory Air Temp, Coolant temp, TPS and igniton moduel depending on the year of the motor you are installing. You would want to keep all those connectors to keep the install clean. Haltech and most others use GM sensors so you would have to adapt the Air temp and what not to the motor, then use the correct pigtails for that.
