Guest Ptrust
Can any of you tell me the best way to take out the front windshield and molding for it? I am stuck as to how to get it out, with out bending the molding. Ptrust
SHO-Z
I used and case cutter and cut just at the edge of the glass on the outside. Mine was original rubber and would have to been replaced anyway.
Dan Juday
Cut the rubber on the inside removing the lip that holds it to the metal frame. Then you can just lift out the glass, stainless trim, and the remainder of the gasket in one piece. We are talking about a S30, right? Guest Ptrust
Sorry I should have told you what I was working on I have a 81 280zx with an ford 302. I am learning as I go I have never done anything to this level before. Hubbie has always done the body work and I get to play with the engine, so it is time to see if I was a good study or not. Thank you for the advice. Pearl
