Hey Lewis, aren't you the one I got those fiber glass front fenders off of a couple years ago? If so, how's your Z coming? It was in a bunch of parts the last time I saw it. I'm still kicking myself in the butt for not buying that front airdam off you for that kick *** price you wanted to give it to me for. I had spent close to $12,000 on my last Z and ended up taking the thing apart and selling the pieces. I got mad at the rust issues. Now, I have another Z without rust. I am just going to drive it for a while. I am looking at engine options, though. How is your GNZ? Is it a whole lot more trouble to install than an sbc? A lot of extra issues? CruxGNZ Posted March 16, 2005 Author Share Posted March 16, 2005 The GNZ is getting a 6 point cage at the end of the month. Very excited about that. Otherewise it's kind of on hold for a month or so. It will be done for this summer though! As for installing the engine, Scottie (Scottie-GNZ) sold me his cross member, tranny mount and a whole bunch of other stuff off of his car when he parted it out, so installing the 3.8 in my Z was pretty much a "bolt in". I have used A/C maybe a half dozen times since I have been able to drive, so I really didn't see the need for it in my Z. Although, there is room for it. !M!
