Guest MrBlonde
After work today, my car's headlights wouldn't turn on. The motors work fine, but both the fog lights and the normal headlights won't turn on. I assume this is some sort of electrical problem, but I can't seem to find a blown fuse anywhere. Anyone help me? Oh yeah, it's an '88 300zx Turbo.
COZY Z COLE
A couple things, don't just do a visual, test your fuses. Second, take your headlight switch assm. out and use an air hose to clean it. You have to pull the steering wheel to do this. 80's model 300ZX are famous for problems with dirty switches, hook it back up and if that doesn't work you need a new switch. buZy
Good idea. But before that do a quick check of your electrical ground connections with a test meter, it just maybe be something simple like a loose wire. It should also tell you if the switch has failed. If your fog lights are not stock... I would check those connections too.
