240Z-DET
I don't know if anyone can see it, but if you notice the TO bearing is spaced out for proper clearance for the QM clutch. The other line attached to the TOB is the bleeder line. The trans tunnel required some "clearancing". All hail the mighty BFH!! I beat the trans tunnel like it stole something. Also, notice that the top ear of the stock LS1 T56 bellhousing was grounded off to match the traditional Chevy pattern. A mount was added at the 10 o'clock position to match the Chevy pattern too. It's coming along very well.
CruxGNZ
Damn, you're just moving right along with this. Awsome work. I'm going to have to step it up a little if we are going to terrorize the imports and domestics on HWY 100 (local cruising scene). Can you imaging the next Hybrid Z get together? P.S. My Z goes in for its 6-poit cage this weekend $600, Chromoly tubing and a certified welder, can't beat that. !M!
jt1
Looking good. Is the QM TOB retained or is it free to rotate? I've never really understood why some styles can rotate and others don't. John
240Z-DET
The spacer still allows full rotation of the TOB. It's actually a sleeve/spacer that resides where the TOB did in the TOB. Here is a picture of the drivetrain installed. So far, so good.
