  1. I would buy that in a heartbeat. You have a complete and clean interior including all panels. You also have perfect doors, rear hatch, and hood. You;ve got one complete retractable headlight bucket and the other one looks questionable, but repairable. Don't forget the rear end, front and rear brakes, gas tank, and so many more things that are salvageable. Yeah, buy it and make a profit. Otherwise, where is it?
  2. That driver has stone cold ballz.
  3. I've got a comment for you and it's just a FYI. The SR20DET engine is completely aluminum so painting the block and head will act as an insulator keeping IN THE HEAT. Take a look at any aluminum engine, I don't think I've seen one soul paint it for this very reason. If I were you, I would remove the paint. Anyone else agree or disagree?
  4. Ricer? No. Insane? Yes. Ricer's want to be fast, this dude is. I wonder what it could do in the 1/4 mile.
  5. I'll cut you a little bit of slack. When everyone say "Do a search" it is meant for you to use as a tool for your own discovery. When you ask a very general question like that, you're bound to get jumped on by the general population here. Just check out the V8 forums and start with square one.
  6. I do believe that the RWD and the FWD differ because the RWD unit has an extra coolant port facing the transmission. The head gaskets I looked at verified that. That's one of the things that prevents swapping the S13 head onto a B13,14 engine and vice versa.
  7. Does the SR16VE have a distributor like the FWD SR20? If so, you'll have an issue with the dizzy hitting the firewall if you want to mount the engine relatively close to the firewall. Just a heads up.

    Potential Z Pit Girl?

    camel toe........word
  9. Personally, there are a great deal of more factors involved before you get too upset. First, what are the A/R ratios of the turbos? You can easily achieve more HP at the same boost level by switching the exhaust housings to a larger A/R. What altitude are you at? What was the A/F ratio? What was your fuel pressure set at? How large are the downpipes and exhaust system? These are but a FEW things you need to consider before you get depressed......
  10. Welcome to the forum!! Read the sticky under the Drivetrain section labeled "Complete Differential List (need help)". Every question will be answered for you.
  11. Summit racing is taking pre-orders for a December 8th delivery date. The price is $470 plus shipping. It includes the cap, rotor, billet distributor and improved trigger wheel. It also gives you 5 degrees -/+ timing adjustment.
  12. I saw this at SEMA last week. I don't have pricing, but it should be in line with current offerings. http://www.msdignition.com/2006/06-4.htm

    VLSD info

My actual VLSD is from a Sylvia with a 4.08 ratio. My VLSD has a 5 bolt output flange. "The new VLSD units are not the same as the older ones that were pre 90." Quote from J. Thagard So, now knowing this, what differentiates my VLSD from a standard LSD R200. Shouldn't I be able to use the same set up as far as axles, companion flange, etc. as a R200?
  14. Foose is the man, but don't forget about his competition.....Rad Rides by Troy. RRBT built one of my favorite cars of all time, the Chicayne. If either one were to do a rendering for any car, expect no less than $500-$1000 to do so. Now, when you're ready to have them begin the project, have that checkbook open expecting to spend no less than $100K. After your checkbook is open, the next phase is the two year waiting period. Yeah, both are backlogged that far. A great deal of their projects are subcontracted, but they both oversee everything and have total creative control over the project (including the owner). I would love to have RRBT or Foose perform their skills on my Z, but there are others that are worthy as well that are coming up in the ranks.

    VLSD info

I have searched over and over again about the VLSD swap into a S30 chassis. I have found one solution where someone was using the axles from a AMC. Are there any others that anyone is aware of? More specifically, I am looking for the following info: What output shafts are the correct units with regards to spline count? What Datsun/Nissan CV axles are available with the correct spline count? Which companion flange will work with the VLSD if the spline count is correct? I thank any and everyone in advance that is able to help me out!!
  16. Someone please back me up for verification, but I think the correct CV axles you need are from the 81-83 280ZXT. I'm trying to source a pair myself.
  17. Seeing that my car isn't even running yet, I think I have by far the slowest Z.

    240Z Underside

This shows the tig welded stainless dual 2.5" exhaust that will flow into a Y and out to a 3" outlet. I have a stainless Dynomax muffler that will exit in the stock location.
  19. Yeah, I overstated the "Big Block" idea a lil' bit, but just in terms of the sheer cubes is cool. The link had me laughing....there isn't even a price yet. If you have to ask, then you can't afford it!
  20. The engine in the C6 Z06 is the LS7 with 500+ HP. I'd bet that the crate engine will be well over $15K. Can you say 427 cubic inches. The big block is back.
