awd92gsx
When using the stock Datsun guage with the JTR bushing for the temp sensor...where is the needle suppose to sit? I mean...is it supposed to sit right in the middle? (mine doesn't...it sits about 3/4 over and I haven't even taken it on the street...just idling) Searched, but, couldn't quite find the answer... Heavy Z
Mine sits just shy of where you mention w/ JTR recommended radiator. I haven't had any cooling issues yet, good luck.
Dan Juday
I have the JTR radiator, Taurus two speed fan, and an adjustable two speed thermostatic fan controller that I have set at about 170* (controller sensor in the radiator fins). My Datsun gauge reads right in the middle when it warms up and stays there regardless of load.
awd92gsx
Well, it would be one thing if I was actually driving the thing, but, it only idled for about 5 minutes or so and it was hanging very steadily in the same spot. So...I dunno if the guage isnt' exactly correct or what. I have a 3300CFM fan sitting on a Camaro radiator set at about 180 (can't go any lower than that) I never have really trusted this guage anyway. I'll start saving up for a full set of Autometer guages for the dash.
