EZ-E
A booster and mc swap from a Z32. I was thinking with the larger booster and mc that it would help with braking, then again I might be jkust spouting out of the wrong side as well. Would there be any benefit to this at all or would it be more of a waste of time and or money And you are right I did forget to include pertinent information, this is for a 82 280 ZX turbo. Now if that were so about issues with a bigger bore then why do persons go with the bigger ZX mc for the 240Z with upgraded brakes?
2126
First of all, you do not indicate what car you have that you want to put the Z32 booster/MC on!!! Secondly, is your current set-up working fine or has it gone south? Regarding the master cylinder, you will want to stay with the same sized bore as your current set-up, otherwise you will be asking for problems....a basic hydraulic issue! Basically, you have not provided enough info!
Doug71zt
I'm contemplating using the Z32 master only on my 240, and eliminating the stock proportioning valve, as the Z32 has it in the master. I am looking for a reduction in hydraulic advantage, as I have larger rotors, with Z32 calipers all around. I'm having some modulation problems with the ZX master I have in there now. Although, that could just be the meathead driving..... Doug
