RB26powered74zcar
I would think a Nissan R200 carrier is a R200 carrier. The issue will be with the pinion bolt hole size, and the input shaft compatibilty. In other words, I belive I can take a R200 VLSD carrier out of, say, a 1995 Z32 Z car (short nose by the way) or a J30, and install it into a 1978 R200 open diff. It will fit ok, its just that my ring gear bolts will have to be sleeved, and I will have to come up with a way to make the input shafts work on my companion flanges (not to mention the axle length) because my Z car 1/2 shafts won't plug into the VLSD.... You see, there are a lot of varitables.... ~I hope I got this right~
peej410
i think you are correct in everything you said. however the diff would be coming out of a front wheel drive transmission...
