Toysport
My gas tank has been sitting outside my back yard for a year or so. What would be the best way to clean it up? What solvent or cleaning solutions should I use? There isn't any rust...just sand. Appreciate the help.
randy 77zt
some radiator shops will boil them out for you.you can also have a sealer coating put inside if there is exposed rust.if rust is flakinf it will plug the pick-up sock.

Pop N Wood
Be a little careful with the sealers. Those can delaminate and clog the fuel system also. Just ask Pete Paraska. Has to be done just right to stick.
