Guest 73LT1Z
Link is here: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/827898/1 It will probably be stagnant for a while as I still have some other irons in the fire & need to work extra hours to pay for all this stuff ! Bartman
Good web page, keep it up. I went with the Miata seats and I think they're a good idea. I only have the drivers seat mounted so far, and I don't have any speakers installed yet so I can't tell you how well they sound; but they are a good fit and look like they belong there. With those engine mod's you're talking about, you'll probably want to go with a LSD when you change your rear end.
Guest 73LT1Z
Thanks. The LSD has a lot of appeal, I'm sure when I get to that point I will use the pooled knowledge here to incorporate an R230 or otherwise HD type of unit. That is what I like about this forum, plenty of support and no bad attitudes .
Guest 73LT1Z
One thing I'm working on is a MS Word (created in Word 2000) document for the wiring harness. There is a wealth of info on the 4th gen F-body websites about wiring harnesses, plugs, etc. so this should not be an impossible task & will make it easier for the next guy, as well as saving hundreds of $ from buying a Painless harness. As soon as I get it done, I'll post it to my Comcast website so whoever wants it can download it.
Guest cantstopdriftin
love that little plug you put in at the bottom: 'I've got the Jags That Run (JTR) books dealing with this swap as well as fuel injection swaps. I also found a great website called HybridZ.'

Guest 73LT1Z
also just occured to me that your garage is friggin huge...must be nice Yes it is (60x40) and yes it is... nice ... at least until you get too many vehicles in it (a hard concept for me, but not the other half of the finance commitee, who got PO'd when I had to use "her" garage to replace the carpet in one of my vehicles since I had so much stuff stored/apart I couldn't fit it in mine w/ the doors open to pull the seats out ). I've gotten the F-body wiring data down, it is just a matter of interfacing it w/ the Datsun stuff- it is 9 pages long so far. After I got the seats out tonight, I found a couple more rust holes, the main one that concerns me is under the passenger side storage bin. Most of the holes look like they can be patched w/ flat metal, but this one is on a bend, so it will be more of a challenge. I've also looked into the POR-15 system of rust treatment, which I've heard good things about. I think my best bet here is the Zedd Findings floor system along with the rockers. I'm also going to add in some subframe connectors under the car to stiffen it up.
