Samwise05 Posted May 2, 2005 Share Posted May 2, 2005 Finally got my 1977 280z running and ready for the road, but have an idle problem. when the car starts it idles at 1000 but as soon as i start driving the rpm jumps up to 2100 and does not drop again untill i stop. Once it hits 2100 it stops climbing, but will not drop unless i stop. If i am moving, and out of gear it runs at 2100, and if i put it in gear, and no gas, the car will push untill it hits 2100 again. Please help, what do i have to change??
