Guest el240z
Hey guys I haven't really posted here much but I do visit religiously. Also I have searched this question to death and have not found a defenite answer. Well what I really want to know is if the oem hood for a 72 240z is the same as the g-nose hood, or is there any differences? A little info on my car is that it has the old school imsa flares front and back and a g-nose up front. I would really like to upgrade to a fiberglass hood so thats why I am asking. Thanks for all your help.

dat240zg
el240z: Like the others said, the only difference is the hinges. I had a set of factory Gnose hinges and they got snapped up pretty quickly. While factory hinges aren't being made any longer, you can buy a really nice set of aftermarket gnose hinges that are as close to the originals as you can get - and they're made by a fellow hybridzer.
