dj paul Posted May 17, 2005 Share Posted May 17, 2005 Hey everyone my car is a 71 240z and it is rusting bad on the rails from the suspention up. the very front is ok but right around the sway bar it is horrible. one side of the sway bar is coming off. i have a 80 280zx that i got for free that i can use for parts so does anyone have any ideas? is there any way to use the front end on that? or just to use the rails from it? because it is in good shape. thanks in advance. paul Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

evildky Posted June 24, 2005 Share Posted June 24, 2005 lots of people here have done the frame rails, you can get them premade or make your own, as for the zx I don't think using it's frame rails would be worth the effort and the premade ones are pretty cheap, I'd be interested to see your z sometime what part of town you live in?
