Kevin.pk
Ive got a 78 280z that im putting back to gether and i couldnt find my original brake line the runs from the neutral pressure valve to the passeneger side brake. I got a line out of a 240z and it seems like it would work but it bypasses the valve in my first picture. i was wondering if i could use the 240z line and leave the valve out of it . or is the valve going to leak through the missiing line. the 240 line is in the 2nd piture and is labeled as #2 thanks kevin
wheelman
Go to a local parts store (NAPA, Schucks, Kragen, whatever) and get a pre-flared metric 3/16", 6mm brake line. I had to replace the same exact line on my 240 and found the correct stuff at a local NAPA. I had to bend it to the correct shape but thats not a big problem if you get a tubing bender so it won't kink. Wheelman
