MONGO510
Hi Fella's. I just bought a 74 260Z for a SBC engine swap. The L6 engine has an E88 cylinder head on it. It also has some type of cam shaft in it as well as a set of Weber carbs. Does anyone have info on the E88 head? Thanks, John D.
Here comes trouble
E88 is a later head for 240 and 260 Z s in two versions.. small and large valve.... the large valve E88 is a later emissions head.... Many prefer the earlier and smaller valve non emissions E88.....the small valve E88 has machined ridges in the chambers... you may have a snappy Z motor or the potential for one... Craig's List for Portland had an equipped long block SBC 350 4 bolt main and 7004R for $350.00 a couple weeks back. I am out of Springfield in Fall Creek , Oregon http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/larryjohnson97438/album?.dir=/392a
