Guest SurfColorado
so i have gathered that you need six 6ohm 25watt resistors so that you can use low impedance injectors. and two 1/4 watt 1k resistors for the distibuter and gm hei wiring. Is this correct? Also how do you wire the resistors? and where do you buy them? I read mobythevan's installation guild, but Im still confused on the resistors
mario_82_ZXT
Easiest for me was to just get a resistor pack from an early FI Z car. But whatever way you do it, the Z has 2 main power cables to the injectors (it is always hot with the ignition too), and then they branch out 2 and 4 to the injectors (the thicker one goes to 4 injectors). You then just wire the resistors between the power ones and the injectors. (I hope that made sense). The pullup resistors just go to what it says. Like on the spark circuit, that one is just bridged to the 5v Vref by a resistor. Mario
loy
resistors u can get a rat shack or automotive stores. radio shack ones might not be suitable for the application. You shoudl wire the resistor in series as mario said
