NA_Z32 Posted June 28, 2005 Share Posted June 28, 2005 i know theres not alot of people out there swapping different engines in the z32 300zx, but i was wondering if anyone has tried to put a vq35de in a 300zx. obviously there would be alot of fabrication, but i was wondering if that thing would even fit. i've seen people put the vh45 in a 300zx so theres a good chance that a vq35 will fit. has anyone looked into this? Guest Battle Pope Posted June 28, 2005 Share Posted June 28, 2005 One of the possible reasons for lack of swaps for this chassis is that the cars are rather expensive to begin with. I picked up my 280Z for 500 bucks, but I don't think I could even touch a Z32 for less than 5k. Anyway, I know of at least one LS1 swap, and a twin turbo VH45DE swap into the Z32 chassis, and if a TT VH45 will fit, I'm sure you could make a NA VQ35 fit.
