slownrusty Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 Mike have you got the aluminum perfectly smooth? It has to perfectly smooth, on other words you can run your finer nail on it and not feel any grain in the aluminum. If you have got it perfectly smooth, aluminum will "stain" as you say..due to the grade used when it was cast. I have done an extensive amount of polishing, so can relate.
