Guest Grenade300
My buddy has an '85 300ZX N/A that is having trouble. When the engine is cold it sputters and barely runs. If he gives it gas is will die and will continue to do this until the engine warms up some, after that it runs pretty good, I'd almost even say great, what could the problem be? On a side note, his mechanic said that the timing needs to be adjusted and when it is warm the engine idles around 1,200 rpms. I know that the idle needs to be adjusted. When I first heard it, I thought MAF sensor, but then it warmed up and ran fine. Could it be the O2 sensors? Please help. Thanks again guys.
