Guest 305240 Posted August 3, 2005 Share Posted August 3, 2005 Awhile back, I scrapped my 5.0/240 project. I found a nicer 260. Plans were to use that body. Then I found a sweet 77 280 with a 4 bbl and complete Monza echaust. The 5.0 swap went to the wayside. I've been trying to sell the 260 for months. It seems no one wants a 260. So.... My son is in Iraq for the second time. He will be home in 4 or 5 months. I'm going to build the 260/5.0 for him. I have everything it needs but the driveshaft. Guest 305240 Posted August 5, 2005 Share Posted August 5, 2005 I just talked with my son on yahoo messenger today. We think it's hot here. He says it's 120 degrees up in the mountains where he's at. He's also excited about me building him the car. When he was home last time, I let him drive my 81 turbo and he wanted one. Being a Ford person, he's estatic about getting the 5.0 in the 74.
