opie
Been away a while and now I've got a reason to post again. I'm having an issue with oil pressure reading on an '87-'89 300ZXT. It never gets to 30 psi. Revved in neutral, it drops to single digits and returns to under 30 psi again. It sounds great, performs great with no noises at all. The oil temp just gradually increases like it should under normal conditions too. Is this a common occurance with the gauge or sending unit on this era 300? I've never had a 300--just 240s-280ZXTs. Oh yeah, it's got analog gauges. Thanks, Doug.
Phyxius
my gauge on the 280zx will do this when the sender-connector is making a poor connection....maybe it is the source of yours as well
Guest Jason84NA-T
Yes, the sending units usually need to be replaced or the connector/wiring has corrosion on it. More info at http://www.z31.com
