Guest ON3GO
Here ya guys go. im 99% done. well heres the pics http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290966273 You have to join and then you can view the pics but its free and easy to join, takes 2 mins. Only 3 pics so far, because the camara was acting up and i couldnt get good close up shots of the FMIC and engine. the reason why im only 99% done is because i had to cut the front clip off kinda to get the FMIC to fit, so im now making my own Custom Front Air Dam, so far soo good. but heres the specs: Nismo Blue Paint Shelby Series 1 rims (chrome) 6-point roll cage painted Ruby Red Sparco Milino Racing Seats, Red/Black Shelby Series 1 Motor with Custom turbo. Large Custom FMIC w/ Chrome Piping Custom Suspension And yes I am serious... and yes i have no life. Anybody build theres yet? post pics! mike
Guest Z-rific
I'm only doing the body on mine, as it will sit on my Mini Z racer. Just haven't had time to mess with it lately. The fit on my windows is terrible. I'm gonna hafta do some fabbing to make em fit right.
Guest ON3GO
My windows are pretty good. only thing sucky is my rear-end panel doesnt fit great, and i cant do anything about it to make it fit perfect. i got it as good as i can get it but still pisses me off. another thing is you really cant lower it that much. i have the rims touching the fenders and ya still can fit a stack of 5 quarters under the car. tail lights were a bitch, and putting the motor in was easy but getting it so everything fit so nothing would touch is abit hard. came out good though. Sumo
Well mine might be done in a couple of months. But mine will be equipped with either an LT-1 with an auto tranny or a Pontiac 400 set up with racing slicks. can't decide yet I have to watch the budget . Yes i have a life but you can only watch so much tv sitting at the back of a laundrymat making sure nobody hauls off a dryer and washer for their christmas gift. They already took one of my electric fans on Christmas day, so someone had a lint filled fan for Christmas that year. Thats the reason we close on Christmas from then on. redruM_0381
Mine is getting there... you got done MUCH quicker than me I just mounted the engine in the chassis yesterday.. Had to "adjust" the trans tunnel with a razor blade to get it to fit, kinda like real life
Guest ON3GO
i figure witch lunch breaks between glueing together stuff and also waiting for paint to dry, i have about 20 to 30 good hours into it. thats including painting 2 sets of rims (the Enkei Look-A-Like rims, and also my Enkei Look-a-Like Drag rims). mix paint together to make the ruby red roll bar, and also custom fit some of the Shelby and C5 Vette suspension parts. Also i was just looken at the model from below, an when its just resting there with the Shelby dual exhaust and all, you cant even fit a nickel between the motor and the ground. so i cut it close. Now im making Motor stands and a garage for it with the Scrap peices and whatever i can find. Now i just need to finish my Datsu 510 model and ill be set.. mike

ZR8ED
I bought myself a turnkey 72. Strolling through the local Toy store doing some xmas shopping for the nephew, and came accross a 1972 240 Diecast. 1/18 scale. I had seen them in the past, but only green or orange. There was one left..BLACK! Wahoo! Looks cool on my movie stand. Black Z to match my Black Z. Very detailed as well (working steering, doors/hood open up etc...) I was impressed for $29.00! I'll set it up on my dash at my next car show. I like shopping this way.. "one for me, one for who I'm shopping for next"!!
Guest ON3GO
shitty pic.. with front clip.
Guest ON3GO
ahh fixed my Front Clip problems. I couldnt build one from scratch so i looked threw some extra model parts i have from other models and my Intergra Type R model came with like 3 different wings, and the Stock Type R wing looks pretty good when flipped around when put on the front of the 240Z. so i just painted it and waiting for it to dry to see if it will work.
