RacerX
Pardon me for posting this here but since this is the body and "paint" forum I figured there is more viewing traffic. I am cleaning out my garage and I came across a couple of spray guns I haven't used for some time and would like to give them away. They're still operational. The criteria is that the person must "PICK THEM UP" - please no exceptions. (It won't matter if you choose to pay for shipping. I don't want to ship them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I live in Daly City, California. I have 1 = DeVilbiss SGB510. I use this for very heavy viscosity paint material. I dedicated this for small size Zolatone applications. I also have 1 = Campbell Hausfield DH Model Pressure Pot and spray gun assembly. I dedicated this for Zolatone usage when I painted car interiors or engine compartments. Here's how this works: you'll have to answer the following three questions correctly to win the spray guns. The winner will need to be available to pick up the spray guns. 1. The early 1970 Datsun 240Z came with a 150 horsepower rating. What was the actual flywheel HP rating? (I got this info from Mac Tilton who was the crewchief for BRE back in the 70's and a close acquaintance of mine!) 2. A batch of 1969 240Z cars were designated for two factory backed racing teams. Who were they? I'll need their logo and the full names. 3. When the Datsun 240Z was first introduced - why did it cost more for a "used" 240Z than a new one? Thanks, RacerX
auxilary
1. net flywheel hp rating was 129 2. pete brock racing enterprises and bob sharp racing . Bob sharp also ran a datsun dealership 3. too much demand and not enough production models available in showroom floors. Same thing that's happening with the toyota prius hybrid right now. They sell used for as much as new because of the demand, and dealers sell them at 4-5k mark up Good thing I actually read my "How to hot rod and race your datsun" book (Thanks davyz!) and watched the history channel specials Did I win?
