I finally got a digital camera and can show my car. Like many here I have done all the work from top to bottom except the machineing on the block. The short list is. 73 240, 377CID, Aluminum top, forged bottom, .520 solid cam,MSD, T-56 w/hurst billet shifter, McLeod street twin clutch, 370 LSD w/CV's and axle upgrade. Coilovers and toyota brakes, 8-pt cage,5pt harnesses, alum fuel cell,16" Rikens. The list goes on. About $13,000 not counting time. I hope to get it on a track this year.

Thanks for the praise guys. This car was saved from a junkyard 5 years ago minus motor and tranny and has been on the street for 3, starting with a stock 90,000 mile motor and 5-speed with slotted wheels, evolving to the car here. I could not have done as good a job without the help of many here at hybrid Z and the JTR book. You all have saved me many mistakes. To all considering the V-8 Z I say go for it because it will be like no other car, give you a great sense of accomplishment, and definatly get attention. I shaved all emblums and filled in the fuel door so the only Identification is the embossed glove box. Z-cars are so rare in my neck of the woods most folks cannot identify it at shows but it is fun to watch them walk around it and try. If you have any questions feel free to ask or e-mail me at chevsun@hotmail.com. Thanks Steve
