The Rototiller Posted August 17, 2005 Share Posted August 17, 2005 last sunday they had a half price sale at the local pick-n-pull. so i went to look for a 700r4 transmission for my SB chevy conversion into my 240Z. no luck finding the transmission that i needed, but i did come across a 1976 280Z that was 95% intact (someone had already taken the dashboard out) I remembered that a few of the HybridZ "elders" had told me that i would need to swap my weak 240 stub axels for the ones out of a 280Z and that i would also benefit by swaping my R180 diff for a R200.....well today was my lucky day, i got everything in the pictures below for $88. i thought that was a pretty good deal.
