hat1324 Posted August 21, 2005 Share Posted August 21, 2005 theres the connector in the dirtyst interiors ever.. 14ga 3X1 steel.. its a 48" straight to the frame in the front, Then a 6.5"(ish) angle piece, to a 1"(ish) level piece, welded straight to the subframe anyway, the driverside floorboard was shot, so I removed it.. I have 16ga sheet to go in its place.. The question is, the passenger side is fine.. one small spot that needs a patch but its all surface rust.. I can put the connector in no problem with the floor in, just a little bit more work.. should I cut the passenger side out to make it both even? or just have bonus 16ga steel?? LS1240Z Posted August 22, 2005 Share Posted August 22, 2005 I would just leave the passanger side.It's going to be hard enough to weld the 16 gauage to the factory sheetmetal.I would put the P.O.R.
