  1. He finally responded. He said he will have something something ready in December. Long time to wait but I will if I have to. Seems like he does clean work.
  2. A friend referred me to his site but I went there and there is contact info. Sent a message on FB and no response. Would like to get his set up. Disappointing.
  3. That's what I thought. I can almost bet that if I buy it, it wont fit with my luck and get really pissed off and out a bunch of money. I was hoping to find someone that ran that same set up to see the fitment.
  4. Anyone run this set up? http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS1-LSx-Engine-T56-Transmission-Mounts-Headers-For-Nissan-Datsun-240z-260z-280Z-/251846582524?hash=item3aa339e0fc:g:eaEAAOSwNSxU5UT7&vxp=mtr
  5. Hello gentlemen, Hopefully I posted this in the right area. Its been for ever since I posted or been back on the forum. Got my self a clean freshly painted 71 240Z from the original owner that started a restoration and gave up. Car is already painted and ready for a motor. Got a ton of stuff with it. Completely restored dash, new door panels, new seats, ext. Color is Mexican Orange which is the actual name of the paint I was told. Not my ideal color but I plan to wrap it. I got 2 motor options. 2015 LT1 N/A or go with a 2014 LS9. I figured the LS9 is to much power for the car and don't want to get into tubbing it so planned to go with the LT1 set up. Does anyone know where I can get a set of motor mounts that will allow long tubes? Thanks in advance!
  6. My cousin will be ordering the entire kit and check out his mount. I know the mount doesn't work well with exhaust and I want clearance. I do fabricate and definitely know how to weld so I will make some kind of mount. I'm just more concerned about the fitment of the tranny because I want to coat the bottom of the shell with Lizard skin and dont want to beat on it after I apply it. I prefer to beat it before I prep and spray.
  7. Dam... I hope the T56 will fit better then the auto. I dont want to beat the crap out of the tunnel.
  8. That sucks. To be completely honest with you. I didn't plan to use the trans brace because it looked questionable to me when I looked at it years ago unless they changed the design. I wanted something a little more stout. I dont mean to bash the part and I know it works. I will have to mock it up some how. My cousin is going to be building a 240 around the same time. I will try to convince him to buy his motor and tranny sooner so I can test fit it into my car...LOL.
  9. I just bought another 240Z from a member that is completely epoxy primered and will be applying lizard skin to the bottom of the shell. I hate to beat on it after the fact.....thats why I ask. I want to drop a LS7 in the car but wont have the motor available till after the car is painted because of my budget. I would normally test fit the motor/tranny first though. Thanks for the info.
  10. I was wondering if you need to beat on the tranny tunnel on the 240 with John's LS1 car kit or will everything just drop into place? Thank You
  11. Here is a few old pictures. The 240 will be coming out from the back of my house where it's been sitting and the next few weeks.I'm wrapping up a LS7RX7 project I have currently.
  12. Sergio....nice runs. So.....what did you up grade? You must have have upgraded to a stroker. Ported heads maybe??
  13. I guess I was the only guy who got a CF air dam from him
  14. It's been over 2 years since I messed with my LS2 240Z project.I been busy with my LS2 427 RX7 build and other drama that's been going on but I'm getting ready for the wet season and want to get my 240Z into a good sandblasting shop located in Nor California before it rusts to death.Any of you local guys know of a place that sandblasts and epoxy primers at the same location.I know of a good shop in Oakland but they do not Epoxy primer the car after they blast it. I wont let it leave the shop with out getting primer on it. Here is some old pictures when I was building the frame rail on the rotisserie.
  15. Joey...who is doing the exhaust?Turbo hose guy or Justin?
  16. What I think is GAY....is you stealing my user name ya dam Biter!
  17. I will be doing a small run of them again because I sold mine to a friend.I'll probaly make like 3 or 4 sets.Bug me in a couple months if interested.
  18. I didnt notice the way the sway bar way mounted before but looks pretty good. I didnt plan of running a sway bar because I had alot of over steer before on the 240Z. Everyone else I spoke with had the same problem too. What about you. Is it working good for you?
  19. MAN!!! What a copy cat. LOL! I had the billet control arm brackets made about 3 years ago.I know Arizona Z didnt have them them.I posted a real small group buy a long time ago for them. Like 2 people kind of group buy...I was trying to do the 1 off parts thing. They looked slightly different. When you look at mine, the allen bolt is recessed flush inside the bracket so it doesnt stick out and the front bracket is wider to compensate the with of it. The front bracket is wider then the back bracket of the control arm.Look at the brackets below in the picture and you will see the difference with the ones on the ends
  20. Did you get the billet control arm bracket from me?Everything looks good by the way.
  21. I am now concerned.No PM's, no emails,no updates, no parts? What's the deal?
