Waitin' in line, walking around minding my own, when a yellow Viper pulls up over in lane 1 by himself (we're all in 3-7) for a few minutes. Sittin' there looking unassuming (if a yellow/black striped Viper GTS can be unassuming). But i look over and he's got a full roll cage and messing around with a laptop. We all know what happens after Scotty messes with his laptop in his unassuming 240Z so now i'm paying attention. Anyway, right before the run the announcer says for everyone to watch the v10 TURBO Viper run. He proceeds to pull off the quarter mile with a 9.3XX @ 159mph :icon52: And that's with what i deem as a less than perfect launch (sort of a lurch, settle, lurch, go start). Of course, i can't recall the last time i launched a 800+? hp car with a 6-speed :) FWIW, i always drive the Z but last night i towed it with my '05 Titan i just got so the wife would go. I had to run the Titan once just to see. 15.72 @ 87mph. The wifey couldn't believe i was runnin' my new truck though i told her it's not new now as it has 1500mi on it :). "That's why i got the extended warranty honey..............." Edit: I just checked the horsepower calculator. I plugged in 3900 lbs (3460+2people+turbo goodies). ET says 958hp and trap speed says 1224hp. Since the lauch was not perfect, the trap speed may be closer guesstimate. HOLEEEY SHEEEEET!!!!! Edit 2: That hp was for the Viper, not the Titan.
